Here is some great news. I was up visting my girlfriend in Glasgow this weekend. I was delieving up presents for her birthday and to spend some time together. On Saturday evening we went out for a really lovely meal. When we were there I asked Laura if she would marry me. The answer was a instant yes!!! :-) There are a lot of things still need to be planned so watch this space.......

Well just had a good couple of weeks. The first on a camp shame bout the weather but God did work through the week which is great. Also been away this weekend on a Bible study weekend. It was good to get away and be with friends and just listen to what God was saying.

 

Another good thing is that it is only ten days till I see Laura (Mib) again. Really looking forward to going up and seeing her and spending a couple of days together.

This is a just a small and quick update!!! Well work has been going fine. Also looking forward to going to camp in just less than a weeks time just got to get one or two things and then I will be sorted.

 

One last thing to say is that I'm no longer single. For those of you that don't know her name is Laura or as known on a website I use missirnbru. Its been great spending some time with her over the weekend. At the end of the day I'm just relying on the Lords will in all of this.

Oh well England dream of winning the world cup has finished and will now have to wait for another 4yrs!!! Just got to wonder whether it will be any different under Steve Mclaren!!! Would like to hear your views on this.

Noticed I haven't updated in a while. Well everything at work is going well but kinda of not looking forward to October because we have a turnaround on the Refinery and I will be looking after about 160 blokes wages. That means I can't take any time off then. So that means I got September or November to take holiday in. Also near to camp and the camp I'm on still need 3 boy tent leaders. Monday 01/05/06 me and 10 other friends went to Cherbourg, France for the day. Apart from the early start everyone seem to be in good spirit!!! Apart from having one small incident someone forgetting there passport everything was fine.... Well we got on the Speed cat at Porstmouth the weather was not so good but thought nothing of it. Well once we were out to open sea two people from our group was very ill!! Anyway after the rough crossing we arrived at our destination ready to spend some money in the shops. One slight problem none of the shops was open so we couldn't spend any money :-( So we gave up on that idea and deceided it was time for some lunch. Well that went really well and the food was really good. After lunch we went to a fort and then down to the harbour where some funny pics was taken. Time we done that it was time to go back!! The ferry crossing was much more smoother and more pleasurable journey. Once I had dropped people home I got home at 22:30

All I can say Praise the Lord. The best way of saying it is that I've been struggling for a little while with a couple of things. As most of you know I'm meant to be going on a stag weekend. For the past couple of weeks I've been thinking as a Christian should I be going on this weekend. Tonight it was made very clear that I shouldn't go. Over the weekend there will be many things that I won't like or shouldn't be doing as a Christian. At the end of the day I don't want to be keep on being middle of the road of where I'm trying to keep both sides happy. I'm not really being a effective christian nor pleaseing the Lord. I hope this makes sense!!
